Description
This special build of the Ranger 8000 is a compact, quiet, and efficient 3000 rpm 8kVA generator that was developed specifically for the NSW Telco Authority that provides power for communications and response sites, particularly to NSW SES, Fire & Rescue and Police services. It was based off our Ranger 8000 Single Phase generator with a lot of modifications and some innovative solutions that no standard generator would come with. These are designed to be rapidly deployed either on a trailer, truck or site.
It has the ability to be GPS Tracked, Remote 4G Monitoring and starting, can have fuel supplied from an external fuel source or from the inbuilt 130L tank, plug-in on board start battery charging from AC Mains, and a separate Oil Reservoir that can automatically top up the oil level in the engine to increase service intervals and eliminate the need for checking levels. The Ranger 8000 uses a high quality 2 Cylinder Yanmar engine that is rated to 3000 rpm, which is combined with the patented Permanent Magnet Alternator with motor starting capabilities of up to 300% of its rated power. We also remove our controller and add in the Deep Sea DSE7410 controller.
The generator is built with quality in mind. It sits on a galvanized steel frame with a full aluminium enclosure and fuel tank housing. Premium quality sound insulation panels are used and highest of quality components including the outlets.
