The Ranger 7000 diesel generator is the most compact, quiet, and efficient 1500 rpm 7kVA generator in this segment. Available in both single and three phase output, the Ranger 7000 is the best market alternative for the leading competitor. Commonly used for domestic back up power, portable power including construction sites and site rentals. Built in a lightweight aluminium enclosure, using a high output permanent magnet alternator bolted to a Yanmar diesel engine.

The Ranger 7000 uses a small 3 cylinder 1500 rpm engine and is the smallest on the market. How? This is thanks to the high efficiency of the permanent magnet alternator, up to 92% efficiency. With the use of this super efficient alternator, we do not need to use a large motor. It allows for a more compact footprint and being a smaller motor, the Ranger 7000 sips 1.9 litres per hour under full load.

At a mere 59dBA under full load, its definitely one of the quietest on the market in this size. It uses a dual muffler system, premium sound insulation panels and a low rpm engine to make this happen. The Ranger 7000 diesel generator is a perfect fit for residential and construction industries where minimal noise is required.

Reliability is key, the alternators used in the Ranger series of generators do not use electronics to regulate voltages. This removes a common failure point seen in most generators. A mechanical design, the pure sinewave output is completely natural and perfect for sensitive electronics. The Ranger 7000 comes with a 3 year, 3,000 hour warranty for peace of mind.

140L Bunded Fuel Tank
A 140L tank will keep running without needing to refuel as often. Perfect for when the generator is in a hard to access setting.
24 Hour Countdown Timer
The easy to use digital countdown timer allows the user to set the generator to run for a pre-determined time, then shut the generator down. This replaces the need to run the fuel tank dry which creates a lot of issues.
7-Day Timer
The 7-Day timer is a perfect option for allowing the user to set the generator to start at any particular time and day, and shut the generator down at any time and day.
Three Phase Power
This generator is standard as a single-phase output. For three-phase, we change the alternator and reconfigure the controller for three phase. Supplied with a 20A, 5 pin outlet with RCBO protection.
Pump Pressure Shutdown
Want the generator to shut down when your water pressure reaches a pre-determined setting. This uses a mechanical gauge that reads your water pressure and shuts the generator down when pressure is too high or too low.
Hardwire Terminal Studs
If the generator is going to be used as backup power, then it may be better to have the power hardwired to the generator rather than extension cords. This option removes the outlets and replaces the RCBO’s to standard MCB’s. *Single phase only
Additional Outlets
Two outlets not enough? Have two more. These outlets are added with individual RCD protection. This can only be done for Single Phase unit’s only due to space restrictions.
Mine Spec
Needed to suit mining application? We fit the 140L under base fuel tank, single lift point, e-stop, battery isolator, lockable cabinet, forklift pockets and a fire extinguisher to the generator. *May not suit all mine spec requirements, contact us to discuss.
Emergency Stop (E-Stop)
An E-Stop may be required to meet site safety requirements. This E-stop is located in a convenient location on the generator controller.
Battery Isolator
Whilst the controller does not draw power when in standby, a battery isolator is a good addition for when servicing your generator, locking a generator out from being started or placing into long term storage.
Lockable Cabinet
Typically, most people don’t need to lock the generator enclosure however, there are some applications where locking the cabinet is required to keep unauthorized people from touching things they shouldn’t. Padlock brackets are fitted to the doors and fuel filler cap.
Forklift Pockets
Can’t lift the generator but have a forklift? The forklift pockets are bolted to the base frame or tank and allows the generator to be moved around by a forklift.
Single Lifting Point
The generator has 4x lifting points on the top corners of the enclosure. Sometimes it’s easier to lift with just one point, this option adds a single lift point in the centre, and keeps the corner points to use as tie downs for transport.
