Ranger 4500 Semi Enclosed Diesel Generator
The Ranger 4500 semi-enclosed diesel generator is designed as an alternative to our popular Husky generator. It has superior motor starting power thanks to its directly mounted RFL permanent magnet alternator and two cylinder Yanmar motor. Running at 1500 RPM, its also quieter than the Husky.
The Ranger 4500 allows for remote start connections and the ability to use the 7-day time clock start stop option- perfect for setting regular times for turning on and off a bore pump etc. automatically. The efficient Yanmar motor running at low speed allows for a phenomenal fuel economy of just 1.3L per hour under full load. Using the RFL alternator allows for some of the best motor starting capacities on the market. No need to oversize the generator just to accommodate starting a pump motor.
Reliability is key, the alternators used in the Ranger series of generators do not use electronics to regulate voltages. This removes a common failure point seen in most generators. A mechanical design, the pure sinewave output is completely natural and perfect for sensitive electronics. New to the Ranger, they now come with a 3 year, 3,000 hour warranty for peace of mind.
