History
The Eniquest brand dates back to 2004, when it was originally called Watts2C. The decision to change the name to Eniquest was made in 2011 when we diversified our product range to more than just marine generators. In this time, we were operating out of a small 1200m² facility in Warana, Queensland producing generators for the Bushmaster Vehicles for the Army as well as distribution boxes, to Hybrid Independent Power Plants for remote communities and businesses.
The name Eniquest has a meaning. Eni (Any) stands for we can do anything, Quest meaning our mission or challenge to provide the solution. The eagle is an Australian Wedge-Tailed eagle and was chosen in the brand because they are on the top of the food chain.
Director of Eniquest, Don Pulver, has over 40 years of experience in the generator game and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to delivering custom power solutions. Don started his own generator manufacturing business- Advanced Power in Sydney over 40 years ago and was the supplier of current fleet of in service generators for the Australian Defence force. Staff
We have over 20 staff employed full time that includes Engineering, Drafting, Project management, Accounts, Purchasing, Production Management, Spares and the workshop team.
All of our employees are trained in the design, manufacture, and setup of our products. We are passionate in providing a team orientated environment and are committed to long-term employment, with several of our staff working here over 10 years. Without our people, we have no business which is why they are important to us.
Facility
We are located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. The Eniquest facility recently expanded due to the growth in our business and our contract to supply generators for the Australian Defence Force. Our overall workshop space extends out to 5000m² in total. We are equipped with the latest equipment including gantry overhead crane systems to ensure safe lifting when manoeuvring generators around the workshop.
Our facility has dedicated testing rooms that are ducted, as well as have the ability to simulate -40°C to +50°C environments. Purpose built R&D area for all our prototypes and future product development as well as a dedicated training room.
We provide on-site parking for all our staff and visitors, with safe traffic management plan in place to relieve delivery trucks needs to reverse out of driveways. Our workshop and office spaces are designed with the environment in mind, including adequate natural lighting, natural ventilation in the workshop and office spaces with louvres installed and end of trip facilities with undercover pushbike storage.
Systems
At Eniquest, we refuse to be limited to the way things have been done in the past. We manufacture our own DC alternators and use the most advanced AC alternators available with world leading technology.
Like most of us, we are concerned about the continual damage being done to our environment. Our passion is to find solutions that reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and raw materials, while allowing us to enjoy the individual lifestyles that we choose. To this day, we have developed products that integrate with renewable energy devices and keep fuel usage to a minimum. We are recognised and supported by internationally renowned manufacturers such as, Yanmar and Kubota engines to form world-class diesel generators.
Future
At Eniquest we a continuing to explore better solutions for independent power. We are constantly looking for the next solution. The research and development team at Eniquest is consistently breaking the barrier of power production systems and push into new cost effective and efficient power production methods. We continue to expand in our avenues with the agriculture sector, as well as back up power and our abilities with Defence.
Goal
